Beef Picadillo

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 3 tsp Canola oil
  • ½ Medium onion, diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Large Russet potato, diced
  • 2 Medium carrots, diced
  • 1 jar Mölli Morelos Cooking Sauce
  • Salt and ground pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until soft but not browned. Add the meat and black pepper. Stir constantly until meat is fully browned.
  2. Add the Morelos sauce, bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Add potato and carrot, cover and cook on medium-low heat for 15 minutes or until potato is fully cooked. Season with salt to taste. Serve with a side of rice or corn tortillas. Provecho!
