Chorizo Pizza

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb Chorizo, casing removed, roughly chopped
  • ½ jar Mölli Veracruz Cooking Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 Ready-made pizza crust
  • 12 oz Monterey jack, grated
  • 1 tsp Olive oil

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chorizo and cook, stirring occasionally, until it has rendered most of its fat and is lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Drain fat and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 450 F degrees. Drizzle olive oil over crust. Spread Veracruz Cooking sauce evenly on pizza crust. Sprinkle oregano over sauce. Top with chorizo and Monterey jack. Reduce heat to 425 F degrees and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly but not burned. Remove from heat and cut. Serve and provecho!
