Inspired by the Japanese-influenced cuisine of Sinaloa in western Mexico, our Culiacan chamoy sauce is a sweet and savory sauce with origins in “umeboshi,” a pickled Japanese fruit. In Mexico, it is better known as Chamoy. Sweet, spicy, and tangy, this marinade brings together the vibrant flavors of dry apricots, citrus, piquin and guajillo peppers.

Great with your choice of chicken, pork tenderloin, salmon, turkey legs or raw vegetables and fruits such as apples, carrots, cucumbers, jicama, and oranges.
