- 2 oz. cognac
- ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz Mölli Culiacan Chamoy sauce
- ¾ oz. simple syrup (recipe below)
- 4 fresh raspberries
- Sparkling wine to top
- For the simple syrup: Microwave 1 cup water in a microwave-safe 4-cup glass measuring cup at HIGH 1 minute and 30 seconds or until very hot. Stir in 1 cup of sugar; stir 20 seconds. Microwave at HIGH 45 seconds; stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture is clear. Cover and chill until ready to use. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 month.
- For Frexican connection cocktail: Combine first five ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, and shake well to break down the raspberries. Strain the mixture through a fine-meshed sieve into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Top with a splash of sparkling wine. Salud!
