We’ve infused this popular Tex-Mex dish with some true Mexican flavors to turn it into the ultimate Fajitas recipe. If you want to eat it like a true Mexican, serve it with an “arriera” sauce – chop 5 jalapeno peppers, 1/2 onion and a bunch of cilantro. Combine all and add the juice of 2 limes and the same amount of olive oil. Salt to taste. Make at least 30 minutes before grilling the meat.

Arrachera Adobada 3 (Acapulco)

Servings: 4

Ready in: 30 mins

Ingredients

1.5 lb Inside Skirt or any beef for fajitas

5 tbsp Mölli Acapulco Marinade & Cooking Paste

1 tbsp Salt

Corn or flour tortillas

 Preparation

• Sprinkle salt all over meat and then rub it with the Mölli Acapulco Cooking Paste. For better results, let marinate for at least an hour in the fridge – better if overnight.

• Remove meat from oven, 30 minutes before grilling. Heat the grill until hot, add the meat and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium rare. Ready ins will vary depending on the cut of meat. If you aren’t sure how to tell when your meat is ready, follow these simple tips from Grillin’ Fools for ways to tell when your meat is cooked to your desired doneness.

• When cooked to your taste, remove meat from grill and wrap it tightly in aluminum foil. Let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with tortillas and salsa arriera on the side. Provecho!
