Black Bean Tamale Stuffing
Tamales make the perfect stuffing for Thanksgiving. We use black bean tamales for a richer flavor.
Servings: 12 people
- 24 cooked bean or chicken tamales
- 4 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 jars Molli Veracruz Cooking Sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- kosher salt to taste
Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Reheat tamales according to package instructions and remove husks.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Use a slotted spoon or fork to crumble the tamales and really combine everything.
Pour mixture into a greased baking pan and bake for 20-30 minutes. Provecho!
