Black Bean Tamale Stuffing

Tamales make the perfect stuffing for Thanksgiving. We use black bean tamales for a richer flavor.

Servings: 12 people
  • 24 cooked bean or chicken tamales
  • 4 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 jars Molli Veracruz Cooking Sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • kosher salt to taste
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Reheat tamales according to package instructions and remove husks.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Use a slotted spoon or fork to crumble the tamales and really combine everything.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased baking pan and bake for 20-30 minutes. Provecho!
