Nopal Cactus Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 jar cooked nopales, drained
  • 1 jar Mölli Morelos Cooking Sauce
  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 4 springs epazote or cilantro

Directions

  1. Pour Morelos sauce and chicken broth in a medium pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and add epazote or cilantro, and nopales. Simmer for 15 minutes, covered. Season to taste.
  2. Serve nopal soup in bowls with hot tortillas on the side. Garnish with a few cilantro leaves and a spoonful of diced avocado. Provecho!
