Grilled fish with chipotle and avocado sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Mölli Morelos Cooking Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Canola or vegetable oil
  • 4 catfish fillets or any other fleshy white fish; about 1/3lb each fillet
  • 1 large avocado Diced into ¼-inch cubes
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine ¼ of a cup of the Morelos Cooking Sauce with the oil.
  2. Place fish in a baking dish or ziploc bag. Cover fish with the mixture making sure that all sides are equally covered. Place in the refrigerator and let marinade for 30 mins. up to 1 hour.
  3. Mix the rest of the Morelos Cooking Sauce with the diced avocados. Season to taste and leave at room temperature.
  4. Remove fish from refrigerator and let stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  5. Drain and discard marinade. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill, fish, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Transfer fish to a plate and serve with the sauce on the side. Provecho!
