Ingredients
- 1 jar Mölli Morelos Cooking Sauce
- 1 tbsp Canola or vegetable oil
- 4 catfish fillets or any other fleshy white fish; about 1/3lb each fillet
- 1 large avocado Diced into ¼-inch cubes
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In a bowl, combine ¼ of a cup of the Morelos Cooking Sauce with the oil.
- Place fish in a baking dish or ziploc bag. Cover fish with the mixture making sure that all sides are equally covered. Place in the refrigerator and let marinade for 30 mins. up to 1 hour.
- Mix the rest of the Morelos Cooking Sauce with the diced avocados. Season to taste and leave at room temperature.
- Remove fish from refrigerator and let stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Drain and discard marinade. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill, fish, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Transfer fish to a plate and serve with the sauce on the side. Provecho!
