Puntas de Filete a la Mexicana
Puntas de filete a la Mexicana are a classic weekend dish. One that's easy to make and share with friends. With our Veracruz cooking sauce, it's easy to make and enjoy them.

- 1 ¼ lbs beef fillet or sirloin sliced in ½” strips cut crosswise
- 1 tsp cooking oil
- 5 slices thick bacon sliced in ¼” strips cut crosswise
- 1 jar Molli Veracruz Cooking Sauce
- 1 tsp Salt
Pour oil on a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat. When oil is hot but not smoking, add the bacon and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add Veracruz Cooking Sauce to skillet, stir and cook over medium heat for 5 more minutes.
Add the meat to skillet with the sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the meat has fully cooked. Serve with warm corn tortillas on the side and rice. Provecho!
